what makes some posts / thread titles bold & some titles not bold, like this

The bold threads should be threads you haven’t viewed since the last new post I believe.
Similar thing in your subscribed threads.

but yeah, that makes sense, one more thing, if thats true, why are my posts some of the bold ones
Matt555 is correct: bold means threads with new posts you haven’t viewed yet, which you’ll see on any site using vBulletin software.
