My Canon MP210 Scanner doesn’t work! MP Navigator EX says that the printer is not connected or turned off. Even the other document scanning says the same thing. I tried even re-installing the driver, but nothing worked. What should I do?

When you go to Start > Control Panel > Printers, is the Printer visible (as a solid icon)?
Yes, but not when it’s turned off.
Are you able to start the scanning process from the device itself (sending it to the PC)?
No, but the copier works. That mean that the hardware works correctly.
Connect the device to a different usb port. maybe that works
