Now when i say a mod this really is a mod. You won’t be able to use your CPU after you do this. Nevertheless its really cool. I can imagine walking round with this in school and someone saying “whats that?”
and i say “That in fact is a microprocessor which i mutilated and stuck on my keyring”
The mods here
An effective and useful way of throwing away perfectly good computer hardware.
thats really rubbish, and incredibly sad
too bad I dont have many CPU’s laying arou-…wait…p3!!! OLD p3 CHIP BBOOO YA!
That’s what you do with non-working CPU’s or very old CPU’s (like a 386). You’re an idiot to do that to a decent working CPU.
Yea the 2800+ was a good chip just for doing that. A ceramic based one would be good.
I’m gonna do it to a ceramic based PCB p3 celeron@500mhz. I don’t know if it still works though
Remember you need a diamond drill tip for the ceramic one.
half way through sawing pins off of prescott
What do you mean you can’t use them after?!
