I need to retire my 9600XT. I’m looking spendning no more than $160. I don’t know much about ATI’s lineup performance but I’m leaning towards a 6600GT. Yes I’ll be sticking it out with AGP for one last upgrade. Any suggestions?
Also, I’m running a 350watt antec smartpower. 21amps on 12v. I can’t really afford getting a new power supply as well so I’ll just have to do with what I’ve got.
Hi m8 the 6600 gt is a good card working to that budget u should have no problems!
X800GT all the way man, it’s superior to the 6600GT, is OpenGL 2.0 and has 256MB’s or GDDR3 ram, can’t beat that for $169.

awesome, I thought ati would have a card to compete with the 6600GT but with all the new cards coming out for the holidays I haven’t really looked at performance.
