Just a general question..how long does it usually take/should it take to compile and install WINE? Mine’s been goin for about 15 minutes already, just wonderin if this is normal

EDIT2 how do I start wine now? I tried running the wine and winex command and its not recognized, and It’s not in the Kmenu.
you need to type the whole command like
“wine “/home/USERNAME/.wine/c/Program Files/Internet Explorer/IEXPLORE.EXE”” to run internet explorer…

And also to run just wine, you have to type wt …
You really should be using the package manager to install wine, I’ve used it and it works fine for me.
Ya I did do that after, but I don’t see any graphical interface, just the wine command via the konsole. Is it hiding somewhere?
