Computer NOT Posting

Hi folks,

This is an interesting problem that i’ve never come across in my past.

  1. command windows to turn off computer
  2. computer shuts off
  3. press power button to turn computer on
  4. system hangs and doesn post

however, If I

  1. do a power flush of the system
  2. turn off the power supply
  3. wait for the power to clear out of the motherboard (5 seconds)

then the system boots properly.

Any ideas on what is wrong and what to start debugging:confused:?

Did you always have this issue, or is it something new?

I would recommened trying a bios update.
