Hey guys,
My computer has been running just fine in the same configuration for about 3 months now. Last night, while I wasn’t even using it, it just turned off. I thought maybe it had over heated, and turned itself off since I’d left it on for a long time and had been running some pretty graphics intensive games. I let it sit for a few hours, and I still can’t get it to turn on at all. 
My first assumption is that the power supply died. I DO get the green LED on my mobo to stay lit when the power supply is switched on, and when I hit the power button some lights blink for a split second, and some don’t. I don’t get any fan movement at all.
Do you guys think it’s the power supply? What other hardware problems could be causing this? I’ve never run into a situation before where my computer simply wouldn’t turn on, which makes it really tough for me to figure out whats wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
