Confused about FAN attachment to the power grid

I want to buy this little treat for my somewhat closed up case:

I have 2 case fans already and my motherboard has no additional free 3-pin FAN connectors;

I see that this FAN has a Molex connector, though. Is that enough or does it need both the 3-pin connector and the Molex?

I’m kinda confused here…

You can use either the small plug or the molex connector. As you can see, only the 3v wire leads to the molex connector :wink:
