CPU stuck.

i just put the cpu cooling on top of the cpu, i forgot to put thermal paste on. What should i do, the cooler is now stuck in place.

Did the cooler have a thermal pad on it? That may cause it to stick a little bit, when you say it’s stuck, have you unclipped it from the mounting on the motherboard? It shouldn’t just stick like that…

Naa i got it sorted, it did have paste on it but i ripped if off anyway and put my own stuff on.
Thank god the cpu was not damaged
