critical!!! help needed!

really need help with a serious issue here… the problem with my pc is that it keeps shutting down automatically by itself whenever i play any game and sometimes even when i am carrying out some heavy memory operations like virus scan or the likes…
i don’t think its a graphic card or RAM insufficiency problem since the games used to work fine in my pc until recently…is it an overheating issue?? if so what should i do???

possibly, download Speedfan to be sure, however, it is more likley to be a PSU issue, can you borrow a high quality PSU ?

what is the make & model of your PSU ?

is the gfx onboard (crappy) ?

virtual memory / pagefile / swapfile should be set at double the amount of RAM installed, unless certain software needs more

hi, what are you temps: cpu, northbridge, southbridge? are you overclocking?
have you tried running memtest?
have you got a spare psu to try out?
