Well, not technically a benchmark but it’s all I’ve got on this computer right now. Ok, here it is:
1024x768
Model Detail: High
AA: 4x
Texture Detail: High
AF: 8x
Water Detail: Reflect all
Shader Detail: High
Shadow Detail: High
V-Sync: Off, duh.
–54.7 FPS
I was fairly pleased with that so I upped my settings to:
1152x864
AA: 6x
AF: 16x
–53.9 FPS
Ok not much change, I’ll go all the way:
1280x960
–52.9
So I only lost around 1 FPS each time I upped my settings. I was pretty happy with these scores so I left it. Just for the fun of it I took my resolution and settings down as far as they would go. Here is the result:
–59.4 FPS
That I found surprising, not much change. Well I’m happy with my framerates. What do you guys think. All my harware is listed in the “My Computer” thing.
cool, my 6800GT gets around 90 something, but I get artifacting when I have AF turned on 16x ![]()
with everything high, AA-2x AF-trilinear 1024x768 I get around 106.
Damn Ninja, thats pretty impressive. I’m downloading 3DMark '05 right now, and I’ll post overclocked scores when I get around to that.
It’s probably the drivers. I’m using some outdated omega drivers and have my 9600XT at 540core/720memory
Also I’ve tweaked winXP tons. I’m sure I could get even better FPS under win2kpro
Yea, I would probably do a lot better with the latest Catalyst drivers. But they were making me get unrecognized devces. I wonder if that has any negative effects. I’m going to try going back to 5.7 and see what I get.
on 3Dmark05 I had an average of 25 on the first, 12 on the second, and 20 on the last
my cpu was 3/2/4 haha
I don’t know 05 scores so that doesn’t make much sense to me. Good or bad?
pretty good for one video card, i was running it on the free version only lets you play 1024x768 with no AF or AA, graphics are awesome
287megs (whistles)
Once 3DMark finishes downloading I’m going to overclock and try some stuff.
