Data recovey? formatted HD. Will quite happily pay £1000+ a GB

I need to recover 1GB of pictures (aprox).

The Drive is a 40 GB IDE, which has just been formatted and a fresh copy of windows installed on it (A Proper NTFS Format, not the quick format).

I need a professional service (again, dont care how much) that would be able to recover this data. Goverment Secret service standard.

I’m talking about the kind of service which would charge £1000 a GB (nearly $2000), proper data recovery!

Me and a friend are going to attempt to see if we can recover it using “Backtack”, A Live Linux distro, which apparently has all the toolz we need.

The pictures are 6 years worth of memories, and put simply they mean alot to someone and some things are worth alot more than money.

please, not questions about how it was lost :crying:

I’ve searched the net and comes out with some good results, which says that they can recover data after NTFS format…
