deleting a network connection

I am running XP and tried to run a network set up wizard to send some of the documents on my computer to the printer installed on the other computer (both connected to the same router) but now I want to get rid of the set up i have completed on my computer- when I click the data sent/ recieved icon near the clock it shows a hand and then a padlock next to the “TV” symbol. How do i get rid of this so that the computer becomes independant!

You must be logged on to this computer as an administrator to complete this procedure.

Open Windows Firewall.
On the Advanced tab, under Network Connection Settings, select the connection that you want to delete, and then click Settings.
On the Services tab, click the service to be deleted, and then click Delete.
