Dell Optiplex 780 beeping on boot up

[FONT=arial]I am having an issue with a Dell Optiplex 780 beeping every 10 seconds or so on boot up. [/FONT]

[FONT=arial]I swapped the hard drive out a couple days ago and now everytime the PC gets switched on, th ePC beeps whilst booting up. This stops after a while but I have no idea why. There aren’t any warning lights on and the PC works fine otherwise.[/FONT]

How many beeps do you hear? Are some longer or shorter? The beeps are a message telling you that there is a problem. Like other manufacturers, Dell posts the beep codes on their websites applicable to the version of your desktop.
