I just bought a wireless adapter for my PC and I went to check on the order and I noticed that it’s a PCI2.2 instead of PCI. I didn’t really double check because I applied filters to my search and just took for granted that it would be PCI. Will I be able to use this card in my PCI slot? What is the difference?

I believe PCI 2.2 is the protocol for the PCI bus, and so it should work in your motherboard.
Ok, thanks.
There’s PCI 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3, which are different revisions of the PCI bus, a 32-bit, 33MHz bus.
