Does msi k9n2 diamond support DDR2 PC-8500 1066Mhz memory ram?

Hello, the following specs:
Motherboard: Msi k9n2 diamond
CPU: Phenom 9650
HD: 500 GB sata
Video card: Gtx 260
PSU: Corsair TX750
RAM: 3gb DDR2 667Mhz
Bios version 2.3v

i want to upgrade my ram memory to a CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel, i dont know if the phenom 9650 supports it, if you could also tell me if my motherboard does i would really appreciated…or tell me what memory at what speed or/and brand is best for me…THANKS

on the MSI page says that unregistered memory at 1066Mhz is only for AM3, what is that unregistered and how do i know what memories are like that…

I think you’re good, man. According to this page under the specifications your memory is supported:

Almost all memory is unregistered or “unbuffered”, servers are pretty much the only common application for registered memory use.
