Hooz over @ 2CPU has some nice pics of a dual Operton motherboard, CPU’s and what appears to be a stock K8 heatsink.

That’s right folks! Today is the day that AMD debuts it’s new Opteron processor. I do have an Opteron board and a pair of Opteron 240’s running here at my desk, but since I’ve only had the board since Thursday and the processors since yesterday afternoon, all I have for you today are some pictures and a neat system information dump (I will post it in the comments thread).

thats one bad mobo, id love to have it, how much does it run for?

I’m not sure of that one right off hand, but you’re looking at around $300 for a pretty bare dual opteron board. Add U320 SCSI and some other high-end server features like PCI-X (this is not PCI Express—PCIe), and that adds to the cost. They ain’t cheap.
