I’m currently running duel screen off ati 4870x2 more than happy with this. although im getting tired of having to keep unplugging one screen and connect TV up when i want to watch a movie..
If i install another ATI card either crossfire or not or an nvidia card in the 2nd pci-e slot to give me another monitor output?
so ie keep my existing duel screen running but also have the lcd on aswell so 3 screen.. I dont want to have to buy a 3 head card you see.. just want to add to what i have..
Can I use the CrossFire platform to drive multiple displays?
A. Yes, the CrossFire platform will work with ATI SurroundView™ multi-monitor technology to enable up to 5 separate displays when not running in CrossFire mode.
Apparently each extra card will support two displays
ACtually that makes no difference,.. i can just run the lcd tv from port 2 on 4870x2 and run the 2nd monitor on just a cheap ati card right? its only for dreamweaver/outlook/word ect ect.
