How often should you blow dust out of your case, like once a month or what.
I’m not sure what the ‘rule’ is but i do mine once a week because i have a very dusty room!
It just depends on how quick it gets dusty!
I do every 2 weeks. I’ve got a dusty house.

No, not really but we do have two dogs and a cat.
There is a lot to be said for poorly ventilated cases…
At least they do not get so dusty… hehehe.
I clean mine everytime I open the case which could be once a week or once a month, suroprisingly (he says, taking the cleaning gloves off…) it does not get that dusty.
I think if you are really worried. Every other week sounds good.
Winter has just finished here so i’ll be cleaning my case more often as i also have 2 dogs and a cat, that live inside most of the time!
Nothing worse than cat and dog hair clogging up my CPU fan!
I have one of those ION generators near my rig but it does’nt work too well cause it’s cheap.
I’ve never done a dust clean out of my AXP 2700 rig, i just don’t have the compressed air. I could have bought it with a voucher i had the other day, but i spent it on a PC mag and a mens magazine.
keepin your PC off the floor/carpet helps a lot with preventing dust buildup
well i took a close look in my case and man it has a quite a bit of dust and dog hair build up, we have a huskie and they shed so bad. I guess when hurricane rita passes and all teh stores around here open back up i can go buy some air to spray threw my case.

the problem with youe expenditure is that men magazines might cause more hair everywhere (I beleive they make your palms go hairy…) :eek:

They work great providing you don’t get a cheap one like i did, plus i built it myself so maybe thats why it don’t work
