My dvd/cd writer when writing cds at any speed always sticks at 4% and it really annoying me know because its not EVERY time but its becoming more common, say like 4 out of 5 attempts where as it used to be 1 in 10. I know its not the discs as ive tried different discs, anyone got any deas??
have you tried a lens cleaner, maybe its a bit dirty?
Would a regular cd lens cleaner do??

i wud try lense cleaner first n a ordinary cd one should do fine failing this i would try a different piece of burning software i recommend nero what are u using?? hope this helps Dave :good:

ok then well try reinstalling it all and maybe checking the connections on your drive + how old is your drive??? mayb its on the way out?
