Error message on executing setup file.

[COLOR=“DarkGreen”]Hi all,

I’m tried to install a new screen saver downloaded from the net. When executing *.exe file, it gives the following error and halt the installation.

I’m worried about the highlighted line on it. First, it can’t be a virus. Second, I’m sure that downloaded the setup successfully. So what it is pointed on “damage disk”. Is it about HDD, saved the file on bad clusters or somewhere like that?

I am guessing its a virus or something…Where did you get that file from and wats the name of that file>?

It is a Screen Server fromthis link named Snow of Winter Screen Saver. I successfully downloaded.

The Mcafee siteadvisor in firefox jumps to red on that website. The results are here. It doesn’t look good
The EULA of the installer says During the process of installing Winter Screen Saver, you must install
software from third party software vendors. .
