expanding hdd partitions

i have 2 hdd’s totaling 410gb, and they are both partitioned into 7 partitions, i have 100gb of emergency space that is in unpartitioned space, 2 of my hdd partitions are running out of space and fast, i want to expand those partitions by taking space from the 100gb unpartitions space and adding some of it to those 2 partitions that are in need of more space, but i dont want to loose all my dad on those 2 hdd partitions.

You can use something like PartitionMagic from Powerquest and merge the partitions if they are allocated next to each other. Its worked well for me in the past, although some people may disagree.

i tried partition magic, but i had the impression it was going to delete all data on the partition

Never happened with me, I’ve resized/merged partitions many a time.

omg i tried merging my main download disk and this happend|!

is there anyway to undo it?

Can anyone help with the above, i really need to access that partition to get my data out of it and safely into a new partition so i can delete that one, now those 2 partitions, downloads and the one with the wierd symbol on it have both dissapeard.

crap, thats a situation,

hmmm i was gonna recommend acronis true image for that
but then i saw the problem…

an error in the properties of that partition comes up, saying not in the FRS directory.
