I am researching tablets and am not sure that I understand how some USB ports work.
I see some tablets that simply state in the specs that they have a USB Series Micro-B (Micro-USB) connector. Others say USB 2.0 client, 480Mbit/s. Others say USB 2.0 host/client, 480Mbit/s, OTG 1.3.
Am I correct to think that the ones that say host/client OTG will work with a usb flash drive and also can be connected via usb cable to a pc and be seen on the pc as a folder and the pc can be seen on the tablet as a folder? No special OTG usb cable is required?
The ones that say USB Series Micro-B connector and USB 2.0 client cannot work with a usb flash drive unless the flash drive is connected via a OTG usb cable, and also require the OTG cable for communication with a pc?
Thanks for any clarification.
