Hi,

I want to buy this external enclosure, AMS VENUS DS-2512B2BK External Enclosure - Retail at Newegg.com

but, I’m not sure if it will work with my old 40GB (3.5 inch) UltraDMA Hard Drive.
Do you think ultraDMA is compatible with this enclosure?

Yes. UDMA(#) will mean it’s an IDE/PATA device.
