I have downloaded Thunderbird and as i was installing it i was asked for a password for an my old and not used for a long time BT e-mail account not my main BT e-mail account, i know i have this second account but cant remember the password (thunderbird shows me the login name) so is there any software i can use to recover my forgotten password ? any help / advice very much appreciated, thank you
Just call BT, they can change passwords upon request if you have forgotten them.

You can install Thunderbird without it… try re-installing Thunderbird but tell it NOT to import any settings!
