I burned my old motherboard (MSI KM4M-V) because of the Emachines issue with power supply so I bought a new one Foxconn K7S741GXMG-6L (see specs below)
FOXCONN Channel Service _ Motherboard
I connected with a new power supply: V-Series ATX 400W (see specs below) , with the old Sempron 2800 processor, the memory Samsung PC3200 U -30331 Z 512 MB DDR PC3200 CL3 memory and after 1 sec the powersupply shuts down. I took out the memory so the powersupply and the CPU fun are running but I can’t see anything on the monitor.
Are these two components (motherboard and DDR memory) really incopatible ?!?
Thanks !
