Hi.
I have a HP m370 media centre(mc) With the UK going TV digital soon I bought and installed a Sagem Freeview set top box as my pc has only one analouge tv card.After reading the HP hand book it installed and worked fine the only problem is I can only switch channels using the set top remote control the mc remote alters volume and still does all the other tasks i.e. pause,f/f etc. No big deal except when setting a multiple recording,either all the recording are on the first station set or you set the alarm to waken you in the middle of the night so you can change stations. A bit like Sky where you could only record the station you are watching but it would switch stations for preset recordings. Pree Freeview there wasno problem. Hp support started off saying you cannot install a set top box in line(until I told them the section in there guidebookhow to do it) to"we have referred your query to our research dept"(3 months ago).I’ve only 1 years experience of PC’s since retiring so I don’t know if this is software or hardware problem.Please help

I have solved the problem. I changed my set top box from a Sagem to a Goodmans GBD3 (£40 from 
Argos), everything now works through the PC remote plus a bonus,the Goodmans has a built in timer.
