Thanks, but what about the fact that the case only has seven wires, and the motherboard has 10 pins.
Do all the pins have to be used, and what exactly is the dummy pin. Is that used or not?
Oh and I am using an ASRock 775V88+ motherboard, and I do have the manual. The only problem is that the wording on the motherboard and the wires on the case are different, and I just can’t figure out what matches with each other.
Do all the pins have to be used. Is the dummy supposed to have something hooked to it or is it just a dummy and left empty.
Also how do I know which is positive and which is negative if they are not labeled accordingly.

The figure I posted does show 7 pins configuration. The dummy can probably be connected to the extra GND or left out.
Which figure is more like your case cables? The top one or bottom?
Try the following:
Your wires on the left and the board pins on the right:
Mic In -----> MIC
Mic Bias—>MIC POWER
Ground---->GND
Spk Out R->Aud-out-R
Spk Out L–>Aud-out-L
Return-R–>Backout - R
Return-L–>Backout - L
No need for the 5V+ or the second ground.
It should work. I am sure it worked for me… I am sorry but it means opening my case and I have not got time at the moment… sorry.
