Geforce 8800 superclocked...freezing

So after asking around some and fiddling around it does in fact seem that my video card is the problem.

It is regularly freezing either in the process of startup, I cant even manage to finish installing windows. Is there anything I can do about this or is the card just shot?

I’d try and test with another video card if you can, but if you’re sure then RMA it.

What’s the specs of this system, including the power supply?

I would recommend a “DECENT” 450Watt Power supply or more for a typical machine setup - couple of hard drives, CD/DVD drives, Athlon X2/core 2 Duo CPu etc.
