…got a “helpful” update message earlier today.
Told me about the map de_tide being added to the CS:S Roster, along with bots and improved everything.
Sounds great huh??
I started the update, I got to 99% and it crashed. Steam crashed. No reason, what so ever, just fecking crashed.
So I updated it again and it took about an hour, which should have taken two minutes. Anger rising…
Then when I tried to play, I got the message “Steam Servers too busy, please try again in a couple of minutes”.
I waited.
I waited more.
Still same message.
I figured I’d restart and try again, and then I got a message saying “Critical File needed for Steam Execution missing, action cannot be completed”.
So I’m now reinstalling steam and my collection of steamware, all for a lousy freakin map.
