Happy 10th!

Yes, eBay is now 10 years old! And to celebrate that fact, here are some interesting facts about the world’s largest site to buy and sell:

The most expensive item on eBay sold came to a total of £5m.
A £5 note was sold on eBay for £6.99.
The most eBayers in the world live in the US, followed closely by the UK.
When it started it was simply a computer geek’s hobby, but it has now grown into a £25bn business, now that’s improvement!
One of Elvis’ teeth was put up for auction, but never sold.
A lunch that was half-eaten by Justin Timberlake sold with the fork and syrup included.
Someone put up the Millenium Dome for sale at £10m including shipping, it was taken down.

some guy sold a freshly polished tea kettle with picture of it included him in the reflection naked.

also saved me over $120 on a calculator.

Someone tried to sell their wife on it. Unlucky it was taken down.

If she’s worth selling, she’s not worth buying

An air guitar and free air amp sold on ebay for over $70

The best one I heard of was one young English woman who sold her virginity! I don’t remember how much she raised but it was a four- or five-figure sum!

It’s called Reflectoporn, it had a brief vogue a few years back.

A CD sells every 11 seconds on eBay and a mobile phone sells every minute. Approximate figures but shows the amount of demand.

yeah she sold it for £8,000 i think, it was to pay her way through college and the reason she had never lost it was because she was a lesbian…(they told us this in school strangely enough)

Lmao!
To celebrate ebays birthday I got me a selling account and now im gunna sell stuff
