Happy Independence day to all our Americn (rebels…) fellow men/women out there. Even though it is the 5th already… did you do anything special to mark the occasion?
It was still the 4th here until 2 hours ago; that’s how rebellious we are! 
As for my day, we really just lounged until nightfall, then took our 4-year-old daughter to a local park for a fireworks show. This thoroughly excited her before we arrived, the anticipation was immense. …Of course, once the explosions started, she had the same demeanor as a cat who’s just been dunked in ice water – clinging to you with claws and shrieks of protest. Needless to say, we went home early. :doh:

Yeah, kids don’t always like hearing things go boom.
Fortunately, I think the dingbats around here have shot off their stashes.
