I recently got a Western Digital Raptor and have installed Windows XP etc on it. However, I also want to use my old ATA 133 (IDE) drives as storage. I put in one of them set to slave and the computer is working fine. Is it possible for me to use another ATA 133(IDE) drive and do I just set it as Master? Will the PC continue to boot from the SATA Raptor, or will putting the other ATA 133(IDE) drive in cause problems? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
It won’t cause problems, so long as the Raptor is set at IDE 0 and the Master, it will be fine (to the best of my knowledge)
