Iam running 701 mhz intel pentium 3 processor with 160 ram and a onboard video card. my problem is that my HDD LED wont light up after the computer is turned on. so when i push the power button only then its on for 2- sec after that it wont light even when windows is loading it is expected to light up since harddisk is in use but it just wont.
Maybe theres just a faulty connection
how can it be faulty when it lights up for a while, where shuld i check to fix it.
Perhaps the connectors aren’t properly seated, or there is a malfunction. A similar problem has been posted before and no one knew how to remedy it.
Does it really matter, though, as its only a LED?
if hes a modder thats a freakin heart attack, but yea otherwise its not THAT bad lol
I had the exact same problem … try switching the polarity. Worked for me! (simple answer but I know next to nothing about electronics so … !!)
