I am building a pc and my motherboard has the 775 socket version. It’s a gaming pc and i will also listen music alot!
so is there a budget sound card that’s very good and will fit in 775 socket? Thank you!
Socket 775 is the CPU socket. It’s only for the processor, not for any expansion cards, etc. 
What model is your motherboard?
use the onboard sound normally pretty good.
Yeah I agree. Motherboards from the Socket 775 era usually have good onboard sound cards.
