Hi, We’ve just recently bought a sony vaio and as I was loading all our music on, noticed that the c drive was filling up very quickly. We then copied our music to the d drive, but now I have 2 of every track in my media player. How can I delete all that is saved on c drive and just keep what’s on d drive? Sorry to sound so dim, but this is all new to me lol. ![]()
Wait you copied the music from the c drive to the d drive or from a music cd to the d drive?
You simple need to locate the music files on the c drive and delete them buy selecting them and clicking delete on the keyboard.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. We copied all our discs onto media player and they were on the c:drive. We needed to free the space so copied them to d:drive. I then deleted all the music in the c:drive, but there is still 2 entries for everything in media player, one on c:drive and one on d:drive. Other than physically clicking on every single duplicated item (of which there are thousands), is there any other way I can do it?
thanks
Select all the entries and delete them, then add the new entries again which should be much easier…
