Hitachi SATA Hard drive, Found but not working!

I bought 2 x Hitachi Deskstar 250GB SATA Hard Drives with the intention of running them in RAID 0. Model’s are HDT725025VLA380

And I already have 2 HDD’s in SATA, and 2 DVD-RW drives in IDE or ATA :chk:

And well i installed the Hard drives, and Windows XP booted up and installed them and the BIOS recognised the drives, but in windows I can’t see the hard drives in My Computer, while they are listed in the Safely remove Hardware icon.

I was reading on a website that I have to use the Feature tool to allow windows to use them.

Can anyone tell me the steps nessecary to get the drives to work?

Thanks.

My Mother board is the Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI with the 650 SLI chipset, with the latest BIOS release.

God im so dopey! I was wracking my brain wondering why they wouldn’t work, and I opened up Partition magic, and realised the HDDs weren’t partitioned!

Yup, you won’t see any drives without them being formatted and partitioned.
