Heres a cool little tol i found for GMail with Firefox.
This extension adds a statusbar item showing if you have new email. You can configure the time between checks for new email.

Yeah, I’ve used it since it’s first release and it’s great. If you ask me, the .5 beta status is decieving; it’s perfectly stable and uses almost zero resources. Great plugin, shows why Firefox is such a great browser. :good:
