HP LCD Makes strange sound

Hello,

When my HP LCD 17 inch monitor goes to sleep mode, I can hear a high-pitched sound. Any ideas what this could be?

dunno, try it on another system, it could be on its way out[ot]if it were a CRT i would suggest giving it a clout LOL[/ot]

Hi, I don’t have another system, but I tried a different video card. Same thing. It’s probably on it’s way out.
