HTC S710 and WIFI

Hi
Been struggling for over 2 months now. I bought the Gigabyte WP01GS wifi adapter to connect my pc with my htc s710. I set up a software access point, the S710 sees the computer, tries to connect, but then fails for some reason. Now I still don’t know why it doesn’t connect to my access point.

Is there any specifics towards software access points which I should be aware about? My S710 connects fine to any routers.

i changed my software access point’s protocol to 802.11 b and it works fine now

i am also struggling with the same problem…my s710 connects successfully with almost all routers but there is no upload of web pages…
plzz let me know how to get it right…
