Depends on the hardware. Some ISA cards are PnP, some aren’t. Some have jumpers to set the resources manually which can also be set to a PnP setting.
So both 8Bit and 16bit ISA cards can be PnP?

I believe so, yes. But ultimately my answer was that 16-bit ISA could be PnP, but not necessarily. I’m not as certain about 8-bit ISA, I’d have to look it up (don’t work with that everyday!).

If you are interested, this is what I have read:
Most, if not all 8-BIT ISA cards aren’t PnP. On the other hand, ISA 16-BIT cards manufactured after 1995 are like to be PnP. This is because Windows 95 was the first PnP compatible OS.
