Hi, i’ve just got a question for my engineering project:
Is it possible to turn on/off IDE pins manually? If so, how?
What do you mean by turn on/off pins exactly?
That and why would you need to?
Theoretically, you could, so long as other pins were on, but I believe the IDE/ATA standard has been developed as such for a reason. I know from personal experience than things tend to go to hell if one IDE pin is bent so you can’t connect to it.
