I personally do not see whats holding his feet (how can you take legal action [or threaten to] against a community forum?) i would suggest that any actual legal threats made are checked to see if there ‘law’ (and what countrys law goes here? where is the server… )
Anyway, if you do end up reading this vol7ron i would suggest that (if you still want to be a part of hwf) ether appologise or quietly sign up another account and keep all your toes on the right side of the line!
I really don’t see any situation where he could take legal action against you unless he could prove discrimination or illegal activity. The only thing I would recommend is to be extremely dilligent in removing any posts that talk about ANYTHING illegal as you (the forum) would be responsible. Other than that I really don’t see anything he could do. Has he stated any particular charge or is he just fuming? If he states a particular problem then you could have a problem but generally saying he will take legal action is a scare tactic. Plus it would be an internation case because the forum is located in the UK and he is in the U.S. This would make it extra fun for him to do something. However, I would imagine a court case would take place in the U.K. and I don’t know anything about your legal system so I couldn’t give a real answer to that. But think about it, he would pay a lawyer+plane tickets+time away from work+court fees, I don’t think he would find it feasible. Regardless, I hope you have all of the abuse on hand in the event he went postal. All in all, I think it is a completely and totally empty threat.
I’ve been in contact with the company he’s been posting from, and they’re looking into it. Needless to say, whoever this guy is, his ass is probably on the line for a stunt like this.
Yeah my first thought when he threatened 'legal action' was "How can he do that? I've read all his posts and the replies and there's nothing been said that's wrong, nothing wrong has been done, he just got what he deserved, a banning. He didn't seem like a nice character from the start, he seemed to have the attitude "I'm right, I'm better, you can all fxck right off as I know everything" and in one of his posts I think he even claimed to know it all!

Was it he was on crack? Was it because he generally has a problem with being corrected? I don’t know, all I know is he got what he deserved and if he’s done all this from his company during work time then he deserves all e gets from them too.
He thinks he knows it all, but that’s because his head is so far up his :swear: . TweakUI would not have helped in that situation at all. He didn’t like my comments so he lashed out.
Shame I didn’t cross paths with Vol7ron sooner. He was really lashing out at quite a few members of this forum - members who didn’t report him.
Let me take this opportunity to say that if you feel a member of this forum is taking a step too far, please let us know! No one on this forum should be subject to the kind of temper that Vol7ron had.

I’ve not recieved any more correspondence from Norfolk Southern. They should have enough evidence to track this guy down, but they may be waiting for him to be a dick somewhere else. Needless to say, this vol7ron prick hasn’t shown his face around these parts, or if he has, he’s been smart enough to keep his trap shut about these incidents. I’m also unaware of any hacks or actual legal motions on his part either. Neither one we thought he’d actually do, but, we’d rather have the info and not need it, than need it and not have it.
We called his bluff, and so far, it looks like we’ve won. I know Sniper’s been blocking his IP addresses when we’ve discovered other aliases he’s made up. Regardless, I’m glad to not heard any more peeps from that twit.
Although I have no knowledge regarding the indiscretions of this individual I applaud your stance and resolve and would remind you of one given fact “there are dogs that bark and there are dogs that bite” never be afraid of the former.
