Turns out with a nice overclock you can push a core-duo proc past the rest of the competition no problem. This includes the FX 60 in FEAR of all things. Granted you need a 600MHz overclock to do this but concidering the price difference the duo is really looking good. Lets hope Conroe takes a similar course.

That’s really interesting. The Pentium M was an amazing CPU and the new Core Duo seems to take things 1-Step further.

I haven’t been this excited about an Intel CPU in years. If they keep their aggressive pricing, they could very well slap AMD silly considering that AM2 really isn’t offering a gain over S939. It’s a good year to be a geek.
