Looks like your system has hung. I’d certainly give it a go - been using firefox for a few years now and never once have i had any wish to go back to IE
Firefox / Seamonkey / K meleon / or Opera … But never IE…
good old IE, i’m glad i’m now a linux user
the thing is, before i last wiped and formatted my computer, i decided to use firefox, but that was bombing out too, said it was conflicting with skype. Also, every time I wanted to open my mail, it automatically did so with IE 7, even though Mozzilla Firefox was set to default internet program. Just scared of F**King up my system again, and requiring yet again, ANOTHER re-installation of windblows
I wouldnt think this would require a full re-install. I’d re-install skype and try opera purhaps?
Yep full reinstall is the good solution. Earlier I did faces session breakouts during conferencing with my Rhubcom appliance..I never found the answer for few weeks . Finally it got clear that its because its IE 6 was open at the same time..I remove it to finally install IE 7 to get things work.
Firefox is far beyond anything Microsoft has been able to come up with.
Literally the only thing I like about windows is…XP…Period.
Mozilla Thunderbird is a nice Alternative to outlook express.
:agree: IE is crap & insecure, FF on Windoze is the way to go, assuming you want to keep Windoze
:agree: OE is also very buggy, or it was
IE7 also scores the lowest score for the acid3 standards compliance test… Firefox 3 beta 3 has scored the highest out of the browers i have tested (IE7, firefox 2, firefox 3 beta 3, opera and a opera daily build)
What’s SYSfader? I would check that out first…
Re-installation is the last option. Install Tune-up Utilities and run a registry clean
