Wondering if this will be able to run most games including battlefield 3 at 1920 x 1080 at good fps

The reason im gettin such a high psu is because im going to be looking to run sli in the future with either 2 580s or hopefully 2 590s if all goes to plan .
This rig will cost me about 1300 which i dont think is to bad.

yes, that’ll run battlefeild 3 and most other games at atleast 30 fps maybe 60 fps, as long as all the parts are compatible. One thing that might help in this forum post is if you included links to each part on newegg or what ever website you’d be buying these from.
That GPU might get bottle necked by your CPU, especially if you’re getting two 580’s. A general rule of thumb is that your CPU and GPU should cost about the same amount.
What kind of sound set up do you have? Speakers, headphones, surround sound? Unless you have a really great setup, I would go with the onboard soundcard on the motherboard. And if you later decide you want better sound, then buy a good soundcard. For now, the motherboard’s sound should be fine.
Also it should cost much more to get some 2000MHz RAM.
And make sure 1050W isn’t overkill on your power supply. I would only go 50W to 100W more than the highest power consumption you’ll need after possible upgrades in the future.
