Is an average cpu temp of 50C under load and an idle of about 40C alright.
And a MoBO temp of 44*C

Those temps seem pretty good but i think the mobo temp should be around 35.
but all in all good.
thats unusual i can compare up to that with much lower temps, i have practically the same setup
and im 37-42 idle thru stress
and 35 for mobo
have you cleaned up your cables?
and how are your fans placed?
I have 2 80mm fans blowing in the front, 1 80mm fan blowing in on the cpu from the side, and 1 120mm fan bowing air out the back, and the stock cpu cooler. Most of my cables are zip tied around the empty drive bays, its pretty cleanly wired. Should the fan on the side suck air out or push in, it is almost directly over the cpu cooler.
Motherboard sensors aren’t too great, your’s may not be calibrated well. I’d just use your trusted fingers to touch fins on the heatsink. If you can’t firmly hold your fingers against your heatsinks without pain, there’s a heat problem.
Ahhhhh, the Ninja Monitor 5. I love it. But yea, I would imagine that would be pretty good. Personally, I would put another fan exhausting. Whichever fan in the front is higher.
Should i enable amd’s cool en quiet feature or does it no do very much. And does it affect performance.
Do much, depends on the system. Affect performance, well, it depends on what you mean by affect. What Cool n’ Quiet does is lower the CPU clock when you are not under load. As an example, if you are only using 50% of the processor, then it lowers the speed to like, 60%. Then you start loading more and more and it raises the speed. This is very nice because it lowers temperatures and extends the life of your CPU. The only flaw is that sometimes people see problems when it is enabled, sometimes serious. I recommend you enable it, and if you run fine like I do, then keep it. if not, uninstall it.
as for the fan issue its purely a matter of preference and case deign but id consider installing a exhaust fan at the top of the case, ever heard the saying heat rises?

Look is the computer is running and not making funny noises and not being idiotic then the temp is fine. If your that worried about the temp then go get a fan for the side of the case or something
jmengels read the previous posts, Girtho961 isnt really worried just wondering about the temperatures and has a fan on the side, if you read things you would know that.
Moving from stock cooling to pretty much any retail cooler would help you out a fair bit I reckon. Those temps aren’t great nor are they very dangerous, you’ve got plenty of fans blowing around so that’s good but if you just picked up a cooler you think looks good on newegg with positive ratings and get you’re self some Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound your temps should drop conciderably. It’s your choice as it’s not a necessity.
