Well, which browser mate?

oh lol, internet explorer

First, make sure that real Sun Java is your preferred Java client. If you have a post-antitrust version of Windows, you can select your Java platform: Start → Set Program Access and Defaults → Choose a default virtual machine for Java, then select Sun Microsystems Java. Alternately you could just use a better browser such as Firefox or Netscape, which have absolutely no issues with Java.

what ever happened to mozilla?

Firefox is based on the Mozilla engine but it’s faster (much faster), better-looking, more customizable, and easier to use. There’s no reason for a home user to use Mozilla over Firefox unless you are using Mozilla Composer to build HTML.

ooOOOooo why thank you anti trend

No problem. I’d rather use standard Mozilla over IE any day. But Mozilla Firefox is a clean, sleek little build of Mozilla that includes all the features you want with none of the ones you don’t, so it’s not bloated. If you feel you need some feature that Firefox doesn’t have, you can use a plugin module that installs with one click! Mozilla Firefox is an IE killer, baby.

ok, i got firefox and installed, rebooted. when i go to some websites and click some links it says connection rejected or ssomething like that. how do i fix that?

Doesn’t sound like a Firefox problem, sounds like either a problem with your connection settings or maybe just a downed site. Are you using a proxy or MS ICS?

im not using a proxy, and i dont know what an ms ics is so im probably not using it…yeah im thinkin its a downed site
thanks for all your help!

yes it was a downed site

thanks for everything and now i wont have to deal with that IE thing they call a browser
