Hi
As posted before I am running KDE 3.5 in Etch with Kernel 2.6.17.
My USB Labtec cam seem to be picked up in KInfoCentre as Camera - Please see attached…
However, when I try to open Camorama, I get a warning that device /dev/video0 cannot be connected to…
I have spca5xx installed for the relevant Kernel image.
So How can I get it to work?
Also, and maybe connected, how come under /media/ I have 8 directories called usb, usb1, usb2…usb8 ?
Never seen this before… any idea?

Is /dev/video0 the correct name of the device?
What does it show up as when you do a dmesg command?
I’m not sure about the /media/usb* thing. Does the camera have multiple interfaces or streams?
