yeah but the 6800GT is over twice as fast as a 6600GT, everything except for the clockspeeds are half of what the 6800GT has to offer (twice the pipelines, memory interface, vram…). The X800 will play it beautifully.
Well I didn’t personally recommend the X800Pro, but the X800, only due to price. Fortunately they’re almost the same card except the X800Pro is clocked a lot higher. You can simply overclock you X800 to the level though if you buy one with a good heatsink don’t buy the Sapphire ones, nice cards/lousey heatsinks usually
The 6600GT works fine in the Source engine. While, yes, ATi is supposedly optimized for the Source Engine, you’re not going to find much of a difference between comparable ATi and nVidia cards.
intergrated graphics aint supposed ot be good, do you think that extreme, makes then sound good?, an ati radeon 7000 with 1 pixel pipeline would do better than intel extreme graphics.
